Bunny Dakota Rome
JULIET OF THE SPIRITS
five-hour ritual set for sleepwalking bodies
5 hours of sound unfolding through apparitions, emotional trances and nocturnal wanderings. A collective séance for bodies and spirits in search of ecstatic tenderness, exhaustion, desire and hallucination.
Bio
Since 2005, Martina Ruggeri has been developing an artistic and performative practice in collaboration with Erika Z. Galli, with whom she founded the multidisciplinary collective Industria Indipendente. She also works as a DJ in clubs under the name Bunny Dakota. Her sets blend sound archives with high-energy beats, turning the dancefloor into a living, breathing entity and bringing to life imaginary worlds steeped in southern charm, electricity, romance, rising tides and raw sensuality. She has performed at festivals, clubs, unconventional venues and museums, including: Le Sucre (Lyon), Short Theatre and Romaeuropa Festival (Rome), Ivreatronic Festival/Escandalo Total (Turin), Robot (Bologna), La Station (Paris), La Biennale (Venice), Museo Pecci (Prato) and Museo Macro (Rome).
