Santarcangelo Festival is one of the founders of Anticorpi, a network of meetings, festivals and creative residencies held in Emilia-Romagna. They started in 2006 and focus on bringing individual dancers to light who perform in the broad context of live performance. With the formation of Anticorpi XL, the network now extends to the whole of Italy, a project bringing together 35 operators from 15 of the country’s regions, with eight different artistic approaches. Santarcangelo Festival uses Anticorpi XL to carry out its activities aimed at supporting dance at the national and regional levels and promoting the artistic growth of young Italian choreographers.
On the musical side, Santarcangelo Festival is part of the GLOCAL SOUND network, a showcase dedicated to composers, musicians and producers – both solo artists and members of groups – to promote unpublished original music in all its various forms. Its role is to act as a real, concrete tool to offer recognition, visibility and mobility to young musicians and independent music producers. It now forms part of a network which, together with the Santarcangelo Festival, includes Piemonte dal vivo, AMAT Marche, Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo Onlus, ATER – Associazione Teatri Emilia Romagna, C.L.A.P. Spettacolodalvivo and CEDAC Sardegna.
The Santarcangelo Festival is a board member (and the seat) of the Italiafestival (formerly Federfestival), a multidisciplinary association of Italian festivals that was founded in 1987, as part of AGIS (the General Italian Show Business Association), which is especially active in promotion and communication, and is itself associated with EFA (the European Festivals Association).
