Anticorpi XL
Santarcangelo Festival is one of the founders of Anticorpi, a network of meetings, festivals and creative residencies held in Emilia-Romagna. It started in 2006 and focus on raising the work of dancers who perform in the broad context of live performance. With the formation of Anticorpi XL, the network now extends to a national level, a project bringing together 35 operators from 15 of the country’s regions, with eight different artistic approaches. Santarcangelo Festival carries through Anticorpi XL its activities aimed at supporting dance at the national and regional levels and promoting the artistic growth of young Italian choreographers.
BE PART
Santarcangelo dei Teatri is leading partner of BE PART – Art BEyond PARTicipation, a 4-year audience and organisational programme in the field of participatory art practices implemented by 10 EU and non-EU parners, supported by Creative Europe. The project involves Artsadmin and Scottish Sculpture Workshop in the UK, Kunstencentrum Vooruit in Belgium, Kiasma in Finland, Homo Novus Festival in Latvia, Festival de Marseille – France, City of Women in Slovenia, L’art Rue in Tunisia, A Sense of Cork Mid-summer Arts Festival in Ireland. Together, the 10 partners in the next 4 years will carry out numerous activities in the field of participating artistic practices, aiming at the development of their own publics and organization. The aim is to create a network of shared creation supported collectively by artists and to promote new co-creation approaches and artistic mobility.
Boarding Pass Plus
Boarding Pass Plus is a project for professionalization and international mobility for dancers, choreographers, curators and producers under the age of 35, supported by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. Leaded by the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa and Operaestate – Festival Veneto, Boarding Pass Plus is supported by a network of partners that includes Inidsciplinarte (Terni), Piemonte dal Vivo – Lavanderia a Vapore (Turin), Santarcangelo Festival (Santarcangelo di Romagna), Short Theater (Rome). The project aims at the professional development of the organizations involved, through the interaction with international institutions and markets, identifying creative opportunities and sustainable projects, focusing on the internationalization of careers and artistic productions.
Create to Connect → Create to Impact
Create to Connect → Create to Impact, co-funded by the Creative Euopean Programme of the European Union, is a continuation of the Create to Connect project which started in 2012 as a joint effort of European cultural organizations to create powerful and long-lasting connections of artists, cultural operators, researchers and audience, seeking new production models for engaging the audience in new and innovative ways, creating together new public arenas through dialogue and participation. Bunker in Ljubljana (Slovenia) is the leading partner of the new group, including 15 partners: Artsadmin in London (UK) AltArt in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), BIT Teatergarasjen in Bergen (Norway), La Villette in Paris (France), Noorderzon in Groningen (Netherlands), Theater Rotterdam (Netherlands), Arts and Theatre Institute in Prague (Czech Republic), Culturgest in Lisbon (Portugal), Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Drugo more in Rijeka (Croatia), Santarcangelo dei Teatri in Santarcangelo di Romagna (Italy), NTGent in Ghent (Belgium), Museum of Contemporary Art of Tbilisi (Georgia), United Artist Labour in Belgrade (Serbia). Italiafestival
Santarcangelo Festival is a board member of Italiafestival (formerly Federfestival), a multidisciplinary association of Italian festivals founded in 1987 as part of AGIS (the General Italian Show Business Association), which is especially active in promotion and communication, and is itself associated with EFA (the European Festivals Association).
