Zeus Machine. L’invincibile

July 1323.00

Zeus Machine tells the story of Hercules in twelve scenes. The Greek hero appears in unexpected places: petrol stations, roundabouts, sports halls, sculpture warehouses, music festivals. He is perceived as a remote version of himself: performances taken from film clips with mythological settings – between bodies and machines – construct a playful analysis of legends and their narrative structures. The classical stories of Hercules are unrecognisable: what remains is the theme of struggle – against bulldozers, punching bags, time, or oneself -, re-examining modern society and the absolute value of invincibility.
