Ula Sickle / Brussels, Belgium

13 luglio18.00-24.00

A black flag, the symbol of resistance, flaps slowly in the night. Its movement and the sound of the fabric that shakes the air become choreography and soundtrack. With a look across the boundaries between artistic disciplines, Canadian and Polish choreographer and performer Ula Sickle divides the stage into a test of physical and moral endurance, with a diverse group of performers, accompanied by sound artist Yann Leguay. An anarchist action, which takes place over 6 hours, inspired by recent protests around the world, in particular the Polish mass demonstrations in defence of women’s rights, called ‘black protests’.
