July 1321.00

An animated adventure film, an epic and ecological fantasy based on the first sixteen chapters of the manga of the same name. It is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian world, telling the story of Nausicaä, princess of the Valley of the Wind, fighting against Tolmekia, a kingdom that wants to destroy the toxic jungle with an ancient weapon. Released in 1984, it is the work that launched the epic of Studio Ghibli, a masterpiece of animated cinema, encapsulating the principles dearest to Miyazaki: love of nature, a heroine moved by profound goodness of spirit and a fascination with all machinery allowing humans to fly.
