La Rivoluzione della Specie
“La Rivoluzione della Specie” is the outcome of a path of invention, play and writing undertaken with the girls and boys of the Teresa Franchini Middle School in Santarcangelo, starting from the urgent need to redefine ourselves as human beings: us human beings as animals, animals among other animals, inserted within a greatly distressed ecosystem. In a clumsy and chaotic attempt to propose a deeper reconnection of humankind with the world and other species, we will move between surreal proposals of metamorphosis, imaginary hybridisations, mistakes, misunderstandings, Ionesconian absurdities, between dreams that become a reality and realities that surpass fantasy, to attempt a poetically subversive act: that of affirming the need to carry out a revolution, the revolution of the human species.
Bio
The non-scuola is the anti-academic theatrical experience for teenagers that Teatro delle Albe/Ravenna Teatro has been keeping alive for over twenty years. From Ravenna to the outskirts of the world, the contaminations of the non-scuola, the stage and the choral universe of teenagers generate a theatrical outcome which is both pedagogical and artistic.
