In 2020, the Santarcangelo Festival will celebrate its fiftieth edition; this will provide a great opportunity to absorb its long history. The process of creating the book on the fifty years of the festival represents an occasion when the archive of documents, posters, publications, audio, video and photographic records can be dredged up and new evidence produced during the next two years, which stand between us and the celebration.
ISIA Urbino (the Urbino Higher Institute for Artistic Studies) is the most important university-level public institution offering courses in communication design, graphic planning and editorial design. It will open the doors to its book production cellar for ten days to the people of Santarcangelo and Festival spectators.
