HYST + Strasse
February 03, 2018 | 9.00 pm |
Wash Up was conceived by a group of adolescents working with Eva Neklayeva, the Festival’s artistic director, who entrusted them with the possibility of imagining and organizing a series of events in the city theatre, all aimed at kids of their own age. Wash Up is a regular whirlwind of artistic proposals, a mix of practices that develops one Saturday a month like a duel between different types. During the five Saturdays scheduled, the groups they select will be introduced to artists more closely related to the Festival, so they can bring their age bracket and the language of performing arts up against each other. Tonight the encounter between rapper HYST, and collective Strasse.
Who are the artistic co-curators?
Enrico has a passion for photography and drama; for some years, he has been one of Santarcangelo Festival’s youngest and keenest spectators. Miriam is twenty, loves illustration and improvisation, while Sara prefers to recite: for her, curating the project means coming into contact with the world of theatre firsthand. Martina is fifteen, a solitary spirit, but full of dreams, ideas and ambitions; Simone is already a dancer and a music lover who has drawn close to theatre so that he can experiment with a new language.
