Diorama for Santarcangelo

July 1404.30 am
July 1504.30 am

The sea at sunrise. The silent shore, the line of the horizon. Perhaps a slow, vague, unusual movement, an ill-defined figure. Does it come from the earth or the sea? Which world does it belong to? Diorama means “through that which is seen”. Norwegian artist Ingri Fiksdal uses choreography like a lens through which she can meddle with a given context. This is a performance designed for a specific setting that Fiksdal stages at various locations around the world, paying close attention to the relationship with the land, as well as to sound, light and costume. It is an oneiric ritual that transforms the perception of place and its very nature.

The performance is taking place in Rimini. We recommend to bring your own beach towel.
The Festival arranges the bus from Santarcangelo to the venue.
