Tout Bleu was born in Geneva, Switzerland, in October 2016. The band, consisting of Simone Aubert (vocals, guitar, drum pad), POL (synthesisers, samplers), Naomi Mabanda (cello), and Luciano Turella (viola), blends acoustic and electronic sounds, melodic and abrasive riffs, intense tracks that invoke the awakening of the collective consciousness. Using acoustic instruments, voice and electric guitar unconventionally, Tout Bleu draws an orchestral landscape at times nodding to pop. Otium – the title of their latest album – in Latin means free time, unencumbered by any contingency, pure leisure. Tout Bleu claims this time, this productive idleness that allows the band to unfold its hypnotic, pulsating canvas unhindered between krautrock trance and atmospheric no-wave.
