CHROMA KEYS

We need air, the surprises that come in open spaces… and then, in a long take with no beginning or ending, we need to hit the road again with other aliens. After years on tour, performing in theatres and artificial darkness, distinctive places with safety exits, we come back to the Outside. For this year’s Festival, the whole affair under the sign of wonder/fear of the unforeseen, we are choosing a site right in the centre of Santarcangelo – Piazza Ganganelli – to experiment with our peaks. This crazy fragmentary performance of Panorama is a cinematic tribute to aimless wander, on the borders of visual perception. Like old tricks, Truka and Chroma Key will help us shift the axis of truth, to add fiction to fiction, “attacking impossibility” right down to… doing what? Here’s an example: driving your car in a wild chase straight into the middle of the sea, like the heroes in Jean-Luc Godard’s Pierrot le fou!
