with: Anna Karasińska, Bek Berger, Roise Goan, Sarah Hirn, Sophie Hope
moderator: Chiara Organtini
Participation is a multifaceted word. Depending on the perspective, it unveils its revolutionary potential or is shrouded in demagogic opacities. This conversation will explore participative aesthetics as transformative devices capable of redefining attitudes and procedures of cultural institutions. A critical alliance between artists and organisations for imagining new relational symmetries, moving towards co-generated scenarios. This talk starts from the field research developed within the framework of BEPART, investigating the ethics of participation and outlining the conditions needed for an effective sharing of power capable of transforming contexts and places.
